A whole file. One secure space.

Messages, document requests, files, and signatures stay in one place. Your team and the people you work with know where to find each document, and you decide who is invited.

A secure space brings your team and three outside contacts together around the same file: everyone sees the same messages, requests, and documents.

01Around the file

The right people, on each side.

Several people, permissions for each

  • The managers of the file, and the experts you invite.
  • Requests with a deadline, validated or sent back with a reason.
  • A record of who viewed or downloaded each document.

What they still need to provide

  • Access with a link or a code, or with their Google or Microsoft account.
  • The list of expected documents and the deadline.
  • Their family or advisors, if you invite them.

02In a space

What replaces the email thread.

A space brings together what is usually scattered across inboxes, attachments, and a tracking spreadsheet.

Messages
The thread of the exchange, with audio messages when text is not enough.
Requests
A document, a question, or a form, requested right in the exchange.
Documents
Folders, version history, a watermark if needed.
Access
Everyone in a space sees the same documents. To keep two parties apart, open a space for each.
Signature
The signed document and its audit trail file, filed in the space.
Log
Uploads, views, and validations logged, exportable as CSV.

03The life of a file

From opening to archive.

  1. Step 01Opening

    Invite

A name, a deadline if needed, the people on each side.

  2. Step 02In progress

    Exchange

Everyone sees what they still have to do, and you see where the other person stands.

  3. Step 03Closing

    Close

The space no longer accepts messages or files; the history remains available.

  4. Step 04Archive

    Archive

The finished file leaves your active spaces, and the people you work with no longer have access to it.

05Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Do my clients need to create an account?

No. They sign in with a link or a code received by email, or with their Google or Microsoft account.

Can I control what each participant can do?

Yes. For each space, you set whether your team and the people you work with can write, upload files, or download them, and you can adjust these rights person by person. Everyone sees the same documents, though: to keep two parties apart, open two spaces.

What happens when the file is finished?

You close the space: it no longer accepts new messages or files, and the history remains available to all its participants. You can then archive it: the people you work with no longer have access, and your team still finds it.

Do large files go through?

Yes. There is no size limit per file uploaded to Nestor; only imports from a connector are limited to 100 MB per file. Total storage depends on your plan.

Can the spaces carry our brand colors?

Yes. Your logo, your colors, and your wording appear in the emails and screens the people you work with see.

Another question?Choose the topic of your request: our team answers by email.

Do your files involve several people?

Pick a file you are working on: we will show you what it looks like in a Nestor space.
