Business financing: the company's documents in one place.

One space per file, shared with the CEO, the CFO or the outside accountant: the list of documents, the deadlines and the reminders, all in one place.

01Today

An incomplete file, and a credit committee waiting.

To set up financing, you need the Kbis extract (the French company registration certificate), the latest tax returns, a forecast, the current debt and sometimes collateral. The documents come in by email from several people, and something is almost always missing.

  • Some documents sent by the CEO, others by the accountant, with no overall view.
  • Successive versions of the forecast spread across several email threads.
  • Phone calls to get the latest tax return.
  • Every year, the same financial statements to request again from the whole portfolio.

02What you request

A precise list of documents, each with a deadline.

Examples to adapt to your credit policy and the type of financing. Each request sets the format, the number of files and the deadline.

  • DocumentThe Kbis extractWith an instruction on how recent it must be. If it is too old, you send it back with a reason.
  • DocumentThe latest tax returnsOr the annual financial statements, depending on the size of the company, with the expected number of files.
  • DocumentThe forecast and the financing planEarlier versions remain available if the company updates them.
  • FormCurrent debtExisting loans, entered in a form rather than in a spreadsheet sent separately.
  • QuestionThe purpose of the financingA short answer, to frame the analysis from the start.

03How it works in Nestor

From the first request to the file handed over for analysis.

  1. 01

    Open the file's space

Invite the CEO and, if they wish, their CFO or accountant. Each person signs in with a link or a code received by email.

    Secure spaces
  2. 02

    Send the list of documents

For each document, you set the format, the deadline and whether it is required; the other person sees them in their progress. For the next files, reuse your message and form templates.

  3. 03

    Validate as documents arrive

An incomplete tax return? Send it back with the reason. The company sees “Correction requested” and knows what to provide.

  4. 04

    Let the reminders run

Reminders go out at the pace you set and stop as soon as the document is uploaded. A reminder can also go out before the deadline.

    Hand over to the analysts

Documents can be downloaded as an archive or exported to SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, S3 or SFTP, and your tools can retrieve them through the API.

04Scope and limits

The list of documents, the analysis of the financial statements and the credit decision remain your institution's. Nestor organizes the collection, the exchanges and the tracking.

Nestor helps you meet certain requirements: traceability, access control, hosting in France. Compliance remains your organization's responsibility.

Nestor does not read tax returns or extract any data from them: your teams do the analysis.
You decide who, in your team and on the client's side, is invited to the space and what they can do there.
SSO with SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect, and two-factor authentication with a passkey.

05Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Can the accountant upload the documents instead of the CEO?

Yes. A space can bring together several people from the company: each one uploads what concerns them.

Can we request the financial statements from the whole portfolio again?

Yes. A campaign sends the same request to hundreds or thousands of companies, each in its own private space. The number of active spaces depends on your plan.

Does Nestor extract data from tax returns?

No. Nestor collects and organizes the documents; your teams read them and enter the data in your analysis tools.

Can the documents go into our credit application tool?

They can be exported to SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, S3 or SFTP, or retrieved through Nestor's API and webhooks. There is no ready-made connector for banking software.

Can our teams sign in with their company account?

Yes. Nestor supports SSO with SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect, set up by your administrator.
