Every document in the right place, in a space reserved for the matter.

One space per matter, reserved for the people involved, and a record of who viewed each document.

One space per matter, reserved for two people from the firm, the client, and an expert. They all see the same documents: a third party who must see less gets their own space.

01Confidentiality

Know who has access to each matter, at all times.

Professional secrecy requires you to control how the documents of a matter circulate. Nestor gives you the means to decide who has access, track who views what, and keep the history of the exchanges. How secrecy is organized remains up to your firm.

Space by space, you set what each person can do: write, upload, download.
Everyone in a space sees the same documents. To keep two parties apart, open a space for each.
For each file uploaded or attached to a message, you know who opened or downloaded it.
Add a watermark to shared documents.
Two-factor authentication with a passkey, which each user can turn on.
Every upload, view, and validation is logged and can be exported.
Fully sovereign European hosting, in France. Files encrypted at rest by the hosting provider.

04Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Do my clients need to create an account?

No. They sign in with a link or a code sent by email, or with their Google or Microsoft account.

Does Nestor verify our clients' identity?

No. Nestor requests, organizes, and tracks identification documents. Verifying them and assessing the risk remain the firm's work.

Can we send the notices of a shareholders' meeting?

Nestor is not an electronic registered mail service. You can use it to share the meeting documents and see who viewed them; the notice itself follows the formal requirements set by law and by the articles of association.

Can we invite third parties into a matter?

Yes. A space can bring together several outside contacts, each with the rights you give them.

Can we tell whether the client opened a document?

Yes. For each document, you see who viewed or downloaded it.

Do large files go through?

Yes. There is no size limit per file uploaded to Nestor; only imports from a connector are limited to 100 MB per file. Total storage depends on your plan.

Where is the data hosted?

In France, on fully sovereign European infrastructure, with no dependency on the US CLOUD Act. Exchanges are encrypted in transit, and files are encrypted at rest by the hosting provider.
