Applications: one link or QR code per job, one space per candidate.
Candidates upload their resume and documents from the job's link, without creating an account. Each application creates a space: you accept it, and the file continues there.
01Today
Resumes in a shared inbox.
Applications arrive by email, through job boards, or by hand at a job fair. You have to sort them, chase missing documents, then find the right exchange on the day the candidate is hired.
- Attachments with random file names, in a shared inbox.
- Incomplete applications to chase one by one.
- Paper resumes collected at a job fair, to type in again.
- Data on unsuccessful candidates piling up with no end date.
02What the candidate uploads
The documents the job calls for, and nothing more.
The portal states the expected documents and their format, and questions appear depending on the answers.
- DocumentThe resumeAs a PDF, a single file.
- DocumentThe cover letterRequired or optional, depending on the job.
- FormInformation relevant to the jobAvailability, a driver's license if the job requires one: only what is directly related to the job.
- DocumentDegrees or certificationsRequested later, in the candidate's space, if the application moves forward.

Integrations and API
04Scope and limits
Ask only for what the job requires.
Information requested from a candidate may only serve to assess their ability to do the job or their professional skills, and must have a direct and necessary link with the job offered (French Labor Code, or Code du travail, article L. 1221-6). The CNIL, the French data protection authority, recommends not keeping an unsuccessful candidate's data for more than two years after the last contact without their consent.
With Nestor, you define precisely the documents and questions of each portal. How long applications are kept remains managed by your teams.
- Account
- No account to create to apply: the email address is verified with a code.
- Reminders
- A portal does not send reminders to candidates: it receives applications, and you handle them in their space.
- Retention
- Coming soon: retention and end-of-access rules applied automatically to your documents.
- Hosting
- Fully sovereign European hosting, in France. Files encrypted at rest by the hosting provider.
